I have a 27GB HD which I am trying to install into a computer which is younger than the one which I normally use. My problem is that the bios on the newer computer doesn’t see the drive at all, enen
if I manually type in the CHS and all that.
I loaded the newest flash in the bios and even tried the ez-bios floppy that came with the drive,but still the bios sees nothing. The weird part is that the dianostic software on the floppy that came with the drive can see the drive and write to it and read from it,but the bios still sees nothing. Any suggestions?
