Blackberry email account settings not validating to exchange 2007 server

This question involves email accounts configured on a Blackberry. We are receiving a message on our Blackberry saying the account password is invalid, but the password being used is correct. When we try to validate the password, it works but not until we reset the password manually in active directory. The account is not locked out. Here are some specifics:

1.) Exchange 2007 Server - Installed on single Windows 2008 Server (no Edge Transport Role exists). Windows 2008 Server is a Domain Controller and Global Catalog Server.

2.) Blackberry phones are configured manually to connect through our OWA site.

When you have done the password thing on both your blackberrys and server(s), did you do a re-boot to your blackberrys and server(s)?
If not then do a re-boot and see if that does the trick.
