Blackberry server issue: unable to send mail from PDA during AD reboot

When the domain controller reboot monthly, it appears that BlackBerry Enterprise server(BES)loses connection to Active Directory and the BES users are able to receive mail on their phones but are unable to send mail out from their phones during this time. The only fix that we have so far is to reboot the BES server and then all functionality is restored. I heard there is a Microsoft patch for the BES windows server that will help the system failover to its secondary DNS/AD server during the time its primary domain controller is rebooting. Please let me know if it is available or any alternate solutions for this?
