I got a Windows NT4 server with 2 Laserjet 4050 Printers attached. Printers are connected to the network through Jetdirect Token ring adapters. The problem I have is that for some unknown reason, on some workstations when I print a word 97 document I only get blank pages. I have no problems at all with Excel97, Access97 or Powerpoint97. The curious thing is that there are some Pc’s that can print the same Word97 document with no problems.
I have tried the following to resolve the problem:
– Update the jetdirectcard Bios program from HP.
– Install the latest LJ4050 drivers for Winnt4.
-Replace the printer with new one.
– look at the registry settings on the pc’s that don’t have problems but I couldn’t find anything different.
-Reinstall Office 97.
I still don’t have any luck.
Does anybody have fresh Ideas to resolve the this problem?
