I have a Dell Dimension 4500 and recently tried to add some RAM to my computer. I did a really stupid thing and turned off the PC but didn’t unplug it before I popped it open and put it in. After the ram was in, I turned the computer back on and it recognized the memory, but then the monitor started to blink and go to black, then be fine, then black until finally, it just stayed black.
Now when I turn it on, the computer powers up in that the fan and lights come on, but I nothing shows up on my monitor and the light on the monitor itself blinks green.
Did i fry my computer? Graphics card? Motherboard? Does anyone have any suggestions?
