Add a firewall rule that blocks anything going out (or returning) on port 80 to Yahoo's IP address (66.218.71.19

Something like:

iptables -I 500 -p tcp -s 66.218.71.198 -i eth0 -drop

Consult the manpage for iptables for more info on defining rules if you aren't already using iptables. (Sorry I couldn't provide a better rule, but I'm not that familiar with iptables, since I use ipfw/bpf on BSD)

I would block the name "www.yahoo.com" instead of the addresss since it may change with multiple servers/Akamai.

Rule would look more like:
iptables -A OUTPUT -p TCP -s 0/0 -d www.yahoo.com -j DROP

But not exactly as is above. Need to specify port 80

Course, you need to be versed in using IPTABLES, such as using the iptables scritp to save the ruleset: IPTABLE SAVE
