Block MSN Messenger

From the Knowledge Base article at:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q240/0/63.asp

"MSN Messenger Service is on the public Internet and operates over a TCP port that is enabled by Socks proxies or a firewall that permits open ports (port number 1863 or 443 should be enabled for MSN Messenger service). "

This suggests that if you block those ports to and from any station you want to shut off, that station will be unable to use Messenger.

Good luck.

If you block the PORTS not the sites, it does not matter where they find it, or whether they install it, Messanger will not work.

Have fun.
