Blocking email sent to specific address

by ericfeige . Updated 25 years, 8 months ago

Hello there. I’ve looked on our Exchange 5.5 SP3 server for a way to do this but haven’t been able to come up with anything. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place. He’s the basic question I have. I’m set up as the administrator for email and I get notification of all the inbound and outbound bounces. This is fine most of the time but the problem comes in when a few of my users over time subscribe to 7.4 millions email lists and then end up quitting the company here. After I delete their email account, I’m innundated with undeliverable email failures. Is there a way that I can setup up our exchange server to not even bother with anything sent to certain addresses. For instance, could I set it up that johndoe@ourdomain.com would just be ignored or blocked by our server so I wouldn’t get the “Notification: Inbound Mail Failure ” emails?

Thanks in advance.
Eric
