Blocking in/out internet mail in win2K?

By henrysin ·
We are running Exchanger 2000, with Oulook 2000 / 98 clients. I want to block all incoming / outgoing internet email (inbound and outbound) to a specific group. Can anyone tell me the solution and the way to do this?
Thanks for help!

Blocking in/out internet mail in win2K?

The answer depends on your network configuration[re Exchange 5.5? Exchange 2000? Are you running a W2K server[PDC]with Active Directory? NT server? Exchange alone? Groups policy is a very good way of controlling acess to specific resources. Need some more detail on your basic network environment to provide good answers to your question.

Blocking in/out internet mail in win2K?

Actually, l plan to upgrade Ex. 5.5 to Ex. 2000. l am doing fine for blocking all incoming / outgoing internet email to a specific group on Ex. 5.5. I would like to know what do i need to setup for remaining this email policy for Ex. 2000.

My basic network environment as the following:
1. Exchange 5.5 on a NT 4.0 server
2. My network is running 2 W2K servers with AD and 2 W2K member servers.

Remark: The Exchnage 5.5 and the NT 4.0 server will be removed after the upgrading.

Thanks!!
