blue screen

hello, my friend received these error when he boot his pc up:The computer has recovered from a bugcheck. The system was recovered from a bugcheck. bugcheck was: 0x10000050 (0xf22f08d0, 0x00000000, 0xf9d601a9, 0x00000000).He just installed a dell printer and divx software.any idea ?any helps would be appreciate.thanks

uninstall the DIVX software and run viri scanner/spyware scanner. Some DIVx SW may contain viri/spyware/malware.


What happens when the printer is removed (physically) or powered off/On?
If not, uninstall the printer

I've seen plenty of DIVX "packages" come with virus/spyware payloads. I'd have to agree with w2k and recommend you run an AV/spyware scanner on the system (booting from the CD if possible or safe-mode). Can the system get into Safe-mode?
