I have a dell inspiron 6000 that was giving some problems, after cleaning off spyware and multiple viruses, the unit is running better but still occasionall giving the blue screen of death for about 3-4 seconds then the screen goes black and says at the top in white letters, HDD failure. I have run the built in dell diagnostics on the hard drive and it passes twice. Is it possible there is a problem with something other than the Hard drive that would cause this?
