Unplug everything and make sure that everything is plugged into the proper place. The next thing if that doesn't work is to remove the cover/s and remove any Plug in cards and reseat them.

The same applies to the RAM Fitted.

When you say Blue Screen exactly what do you meant just a blue Screen or the Infamous Blue Screen Of Death that Windows Suffers from?

If it's the latter there should be an error message on it knowing that would be nice and also if there are any Beeps coming from the case.

Grab a XP CD.
Pop it in and restart your pc
Make sure you dont do complete install

just use the fix xp menu and it will take care of your corrupted files

2. use the startup disc, just to start in Safe mode and then later on you can save what ever you want to.

3. when you start the pc, hit F2 or F5 the pc will start in safe mode and try to salvage or re install the OS

Good luck

You didn't mention what happened before the frist time you got a blue screen (updated video driver or ?) See if you can go into the safe mode (F8 key when system has passed the bios check). If you can get into the same mode it is a possibility you have a bad video driver.
