Im kinda new to all this so I,ll help explain however needed. I have this old windows 7 computer and its pretty beat up, it still works but has some issues. I can’t get it to work because I have to use a boot disk to get it to start because it keeps booting from there, I try to change where its booting from as to maybe avoid this but nothing works, if there is anyone who can help with either of these issues then it would be greatly appreciated!

In reply to Boot from CD/DVD

To give a precise resolution, I require a couple of more points of interest:
After the workstation boots into Windows, is the DVD drive ready to peruse the plates?
Did the equipment test pass on the DVD drive? (Allude to this connect to know how to run the test).
What circle would you say you are attempting to boot from?
In the mean time, please allude to the underneath steps. NOTE: Please skirt any means that you may have officially attempted.

      Power off the workstation.

Power on the workstation and continue hitting the f9 key over and over (7-10 times) and the boot gadget alternatives menu should come up. This rundown ought to contain the DVD drive.
