I’m about to lose it. I bought a MB (MS-6117 v. 1.1), installed it in a case, put in 32MB of PC100 RAM, a 300 mhz PII processor, and a 4 GB HD. After the memory check and HD detection, the boot hangs.
The “energy star” logo disappears, the rest of the text stays, and the cursor moves to the line below the last line of text and blinks. I’ve let it set for up to a half-hour and nothing happens.
I have swapped out the RAM, the power supply, the HD, everything but the processor. I’ve put the CPU in another machine and it works fine.
Am I missing something? I can’t think of anything else it might be… Help me before I kill it!!!
