    boot problems

    I’m useing win/2000 dual boot with xp-pro on asus motherboard, I had 512 ram added 256 more and win/2000 won’t boot, xp has taken over, it will only boot to xp. I have 21 gig on win 2000 7 gig for xp, just testing.I need to boot to C: drive.I Bootedup with bootdisk and it wont load.

      Does not sound like a memory problem,more likely when you loaded Windows XP the boot files of WIN2K were over written
      Use the W2K startup disk and boot computer and run setup and when you get to window to select the installation choose to do a Repair Install for W2K,after thdis proces completes you should have a boot menu appear,which you can then select the OS to load.
