Booting into Admin account

By NateH ·
Hi all,

I recently installed a WinXP Pro machine with a couple of accounts.

When I booted the machine, it logged into the admin account. Since the admin account did not have a password, I created one, and now when I boot, I get an error, thatthe machine can't log in.

The question is, how do I get it to boot to the login prompt window, NOT directly into the Admin account.

thanks

Nate

From Control Panel, choose User Accounts.
One of the options is "Change the way Users log on or off". Select it.
Clear the 'Use Welcome Screen' checkbox.

That should do it.
