Linux takes over

by alphatech9 In reply to Booting Priority

Linux takes over your boot file, but the XP option is still there....

What is probably happening is that the option to boot into XP is going by too quick to see it, since I think the default is 5 seconds to choose...

You need to go into the Linux grub file and edit the boot file. Change the time to 30 seconds or something so you have time to hit the arrow keys and choose which system you want to boot into.

I believe the default name for XP will be "Other" which you can also change in the same file.
