ok if i understand right ur sayin that bootin up windows is slow and sometimes u recieve an error and have to reset or ur saying when it does load up that its taking forever??? if its a boot up problem check the boot sequence in your bios if u have more then one hard drive in the boot sequence change it to the hard drive wit the os the floppy if u still have one and the cd rom. other then that ur hard drive might be goin bad, maybe bad sectors read write errors etc, in that case u might want to start backing up your data. and if it loading slow when it is loggin it try checking msconfig start up and see whats on there that might be laggin your system

hope this helps
