I was wondering if anyone has a list of ports they would recommend leaving open (by filtering) on a bordermanager server. I’m just a lowly CNA (the other tech involved is a CNE), but we’ve had absolutely no luck with finding a default configurationor list. Both installs we’ve done have been at schools. They want security, but also want to be able to use Hotmail. Novell has been, well, less than helpful. I guess they never thought Bordermanager would be installed in an environment with less than 25 servers….
Anyway, to recap, I need a recommondation for open ports for bordermanager in a school environment that allows Hotmail, but has a semblence of security. Thanks.
