BrightStor 11.1 asking for second tape…please help

I am running BrightStor ver. 11.1 on a 2003 Domain Controller. The tape drive is a DLT 160VS by Quantum. I am trying to backup approx. 110GB of data located locally on the server. I am using hardware compression from the tape drive. All tests from the manufacturer for the tape drive have been sucessful. At 98% completion the backup process stops and requests a second tape put in to continue the backup. The exact message is “please mount a new tape to continue the backup”. I then stop the active job. I can actually do a sucessful restore from the tape that was just used in the job that had to be cancelled. I have cleaned the tape drive several times as well as updated the firmware on that drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
