Bringing IT support in house

By tecaprio ·
I am in the process of bringing all IT services in house with the exception of our web sites. I am the first IT person on staff and I am in the process of severing our relationship with our current IT vendor. We might still need them for some services, but account administration, helpdesk support will not be one of them. I have come up with a list of items that I need from our current provider but would like as much input as possible from the Spiceworks community. Also, I will be the only IT person on staff. Here is my list:

List of all computer inventory

List of all software inventory and computers running these applications.

List of all software install documentation.

List of network inventory with IP address.

List of all network account users, distrubution groups, and folder rights.

Please respond with any other items I should request.

Thank you for your input!

Who's handling the e-mail? If it will be you, you will need e-mail addresses mailbox names, etc.
Licensing info? Are you including that as part of the software installation documentation?
Ip addresses that you own used or not.
Domain names that you own, used or not

Do you already have full check of what software licenses you currently own?

Has any software been developed for internal use, where you might require the source code? Or scripts that should be better documented?
