Brother HL10h driver for Vista

By gibbs.south ·
I've just changed my PC from XP to Vista.
My 2nd printer for mono is an old (1994) Brother HL10h laser printer which worked perfectly well on XP.

Looking at the Brother site there is no driver for Vista.

It's a postscript printer, surely another driver will work but which one?

To save scrapping a good printer, before I buy a new Laser printer I would be grateful if anyone could advise me.

Hidden Cost of a New OS

If Vista did not have a native driver and Brother did not publish a new Vista driver, there is no alternate driver option.

Your best bet is to donate this printer to a charity and buy a newer printer.

Hidden cost of a new OS

Thanks for that. I suspected it to be the case. It's a shame that the old faithful printer (which worked OK on XP) has to go. I looked at the original price ( ?1,400 )for this printer in 1995. The (surplus) printer was given to me when I left employment.
I know that I can get a home Laser for under ?100 now. How things change!
I'll find a charitable home for it locally.
