I have installed this onto a Win 98 pc. The printer, copier and fax all work but not the scanner. It is hooked up with a USB. The software that came with the all-in-one is Paperport. The 1st time I tried it scanned, the next time it hung, after a reboot and a power reset of the printer it always hangs. If I use the cntrl/alt delete it says not responding so I do a end task on it. Then if I try it again I get the MFC connection error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software a couple of time. I remember a past scanner problem and was given instruction on how to remove the twain drivers from Win98 but am unable to find it now. Does this sound like the problem that it might have glitched the twain drivers within Win98. The Model is a Brother MFC 6800. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
