Browser for a CD project
I am working on a project to put out a CD for my company. Everything will be in PDF format, I have one main file that has links to all of our instruction manuals and other data.
The problem is that I can not find an elegant way of returning to the main file using Acrobat Reader. If I have the users use the back button of the History toolbar, it moves back one page at a time (if you've viewed multiple pages, like an instruction manual). I suppose I could have them click File and then reopen the main document, but then they lose their location within the main document (apparently Reader can only open one file at a time).
If you do not have a way to do this in Reader, do you know of any browser that is free to distribute AND natively opens PDF files? It must also run off of the CD, I do not want to install anything on the users computer.
I know, I know, I am asking for the moon. but, it never hurts to ask!
Thanks,
Don
