Browsing Delays

I am having problems with a delay when browsing folders with Windows Explorer. When I go to a folder that has a medium or large number of files, it takes from 20 seconds on my local box to up to 2 minutes on a remote folder. Click on a file to select it, and I get the old hourglass for about the same length of time. Funny thing is this only happens in my profile. Log in as someone else, browsing and selecting files is FAST! I am using DELL Pentuim 4 1.5Ghz, Windows 2000 SP2.
