Browsing workstations under Win XP….

We have two network segments in our company (network 1 on 1st floor & network 2 on 2nd), other workstations are running under Win 98SE. If I am at network 1, I can’t browse workstations on network 2, although when I try to PING the workstation, there is a reply.

What’s wrong with this? Are there incompatibilities with Win 98SE with that of Win XP Pro on setting network protocols?
