    BSod help

    by Kevin.Sisson88 ·

Hey basically i have been getting crashes on my pc and i can not figure out what is the cause of it.

My computer is around 2 years old now
    Specs

    Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K 3.00 GHz

Installed RAM 32,0 GB (31,8 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Nvidea Rtc 4090

I completed reinstalled again hoping it would fix my BSOD issues but its not the case.
I am afraid at this point its a hardware issue.

Here is some info from my last dump.

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000a00, memory referenced
    Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 0000000000000001, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: fffff801416c2b44, address which referenced memory

    Any ideas would be great

There are issues with that i9 so research if the newest patched bios is in along with possible CPU replacements by Intel.

There’s also a crash occurring with latest Windows and DRAMLESS SSDs so you need to know exactly which SSD this has.

You may need to either update your video driver, or roll back from a recent update.

      Help with BSOD (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)

      by dwestbrook383 ·

      In reply to BSod help

      Hi Kevin,

The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) error often points to driver issues. Here are steps to troubleshoot:

      Update Drivers:

Ensure all drivers (especially GPU, chipset, and network drivers) are up to date.
Use tools like Driver Booster or update manually from the manufacturer’s website.
      Run Memory Diagnostics:

Use the built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool to check for RAM errors.
      Check Device Manager:

Look for devices with warning icons and resolve driver conflicts.
      Disable Overclocking:

If overclocking is enabled, revert to default settings and test stability.
      Run Hardware Tests:

Test GPU and CPU with stress testing tools like FurMark or Prime95.

If the issue persists, it might be hardware-related (e.g., faulty RAM or motherboard). Let me know if these steps help!

Check which changes you made before the BSOD started occurring. Revert the changes. If the issue started after installing a Windows update, uninstall the update.
