When attaching an external floppy drive (that works on other computers) My Sony Vaio laptop give me an 0x0000007e message. Microsoft tried for 4 hours yesterday to fix, and I contacted Sony today, and the idiot I talked to told me to clean my floppy drive. I told him it was less than 24 hours old.
Any suggestions. All other USD devices work fine.
