I really want to know what is “better”. Is it worth it to get a $$$$$ firewall though like cisco or to buy and build a small solid state device that would cost $466?
Specs:
3x gig ports
1x 10/100
1024 ram (over kill I know)
2.0 GHz Via C7 processor
4 gig CF card…
OS: PFsense, monowall, or what ever…
I know that there are board specificaly out there that you can build a router or solid state firewall with. this is just my example.
