I need to change the network drive letter for two of my remote sites. I know how to change the drive letter, but that I’m trying to find out is if there is a program that will scan our roaming profile storage folder for all shortcuts refering to the old network drive letter and change them to the new driver letter. So that way I or the users will not have to re-create all their desktop shortcuts to files and folders located on the network drive.
99% of the shortcuts will be using the drive letter for the link, not the UNC path.
So far I haven’t been able to find anything, surely someone else has done something like this.
