I have 2 computers, HP & Dell. Both have WinMediaPlayer,Roxio, Burn4Free and Sonic to burn audio files to CD. All burn successfully but CD’s will not play on CD player, only on computers. HP also has burn software (Folder=HP RecordNow, File=mycd.exe)that works great and works on CD player. The mycd.exe is Veritas software.
In all cases the burned files have .cda extensions. Can anyone tell me why only the HP RecordNow will play on both computer and CD player? I have tried DAO & TAO and burn at default speed.
