Bus speed change

By dhobdy1421 ·
I want to change my bus speed from 100 to 133. I have a first Mainboard AZIIEA mother board. The manual tells me to change the jumpers but does not tell me what core voltage and bus ratio to set on my AMD 1.2gh.Can you help?

you don't want to change the voltage, the bus
frequency is multiplied by the bus multiple (in your case it should have been 10)to equal your CPU speed, unless your overclocking your CPU it should be set at 9 (9x133=1197)which is your CPU size 1.2ghz

you will probably have to OC your cpu unless you can change the multiplier, if you cant you wil have to run your cpu at 1596mhz thats not impossible but its a bit hard, in this case you have to put some major cooling and change the voltage (increasevoltage in small steps until the system is stable) dont forget to keep one eye on temp. higher then 45C wil cause problems. The bus ratio will be automaticly set. 66MHZ for AGP, 33 for PCI, so you dont need to worry about that. Verify also your memmory if is pc100 or pc133, here you have to set the proper multiplyer; 1:1 for bus 133 mem 133, 3:4 for bus 133 mem 100.
Post a mail if this does not help.
Regards
