I’ve got an HP Pavilion that came with Vista Home Premium, and a DVD-writer, and software that was supposed to allow you to create your own installation DVD’s. I bought some Memorex DVD blanks, and let the Disk creation software run, it wrote a disk for a long time, then told me that the disk failed verification, give it another disk…. and it repeated the process. There is a partition on the HD to use to re-do the factory install – hope I never have to use it. Just wondering if there is an option to BUY a factory DVD package when you already have a licensed copy running?
