C drive doesn’t open with left click WinXP

    Locked

    by elementalor ·

    Hi,
We ran into a a clash with a bunch of viruses before, mostly recovered from those, but now when I try to open the c: drive with left clicks in My Computer it brings me to the ‘Open with…’ dialogue. The option to ‘Always open with’ is grayed out and right click to open or explore work fine.
This has been driving me crazy for a week or so now and effects two computers.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you have wasted so much time already you can not afford to waste any more so make sure that you have an up to date Backup available of these machines and Blow Away the Window Installs and reload now.
