The question is…Is the domain and its resources available after receiving the
error message: “A domain controller for your domain could not be contacted. You have been logged on using cached account information.”
What is the actual meaning of this error message and is the domain inaccessible or only partially accessible? Does this error message mean the same across different platforms?
I have visited Microsoft’s Knowledge Base and have used TechNet (online)but have not turned up much information on this subject.
