Appointments entered into my users’ calendars seem to be disappearing randomly. I tried reinstalling, service packing, stopping antivirus, and tape backup services to mention a few. As usual, troubleshooting it seems to be impossible. There were no changes made on any of the servers not even a reboot and the event logs show nothing out of the ordinary. This server was working fine for 3 months before this. Event ID: 8206 and 8207 pop up every time somebody adds or deletes an appointment. SP1 was not a fix either. None of the other services but this calendaring agent item have any problems or conflicts with each other or at all. KB article Q298924 didn’t help either. Is there a file missing or something I have overlooked?
