Call home feature(?) in XP

By papa_d ·
My client companies do not want to use MS XP for two reasons.
The first is the fact that XP does not support DOS applications. This only affects some clients.

The call home feature is something I can not have on my clients' systems. Has anyonefound a way of disabling the call home feature????

We haven't implemented this in XP but, if this is the same as the Callback feature, Norton's Complete Guide to Microsoft XP, indicates that you can set up any policy you like from the Local Users and Groups MMC Snap-In. Profiles are kept on the Server. The Profile Tab contains login settings for the user and the Dial-In tab has Remote Access Permissions and Callback Options sections that you can set for any combination you like.
