Calling all IT Administrators! Suggestions for centrally managed AV?

by mdphoenix . Updated 18 years, 3 months ago

We’re ready to update our AntiVirus software at the Firm with which I’m employed. We currently run Symantec Antivirus and I’d like to get away from it. I’ve used it for years, both here and at other positions. I’ve heard numerous colleague recommend I get rid of it for something “better”. I’ve always been the “tried and true” guy. But sometimes you gotta try something new.

Does anyone here use something other than Symantec? If so, what do you like about it? What don’t you like about it? Or, if you have Symantec, what do you and don’t you like about it? Hell, I can be convinced to stay with it. I just need some justification.

What I want needs to be centrally managed, have the ability to push client software to other computers in the Domain, and push definition updates on a regular basis.

Thanks in advance!
