I’ve been using Windows BackUp on a Windows 7 desktop to perform daily backups onto an external hard drive. I want to take that external hard drive and restore some of its contents onto a Windows XP desktop. Can this be done using Windows XP Backup/Restore utility? If not, how else could it be done?
