I have a computer ?Compaq Presario SR1030NX? with Windows XP Home.
1GB of memory, 160GB HD The drive is 160 GB with 3 partitions on it, CD/DVD-ROM.
I put my backup image back on my PC.
But want I boot up my PC can?t fine the (WINDOWS SYSTEM).
1) All I get this ?_? on the black screen and went I in the in enter key.
2) I get ?fix disk I/O ERROR?.
3) put a boot disk in drive A: to look at the drive with until software and I can see all the all data and the partitions c and d, e.
It we not boot in to windows at all it car fines the partitions.
Can you give me step-by-step how to fix this?
