Can browse but cannot find path

I have recently rebuilt an NT 4.0 Server which is a Domain Controller, unfortunately the OS was thrashed and was never documented by the vendor. I have reloaded and have it functioning once again as PDC, however I cannot access any shares even logged on as domain admin…I can browse the entire network, bur when I attempt to access a share I get an error message referring to “path not found”. We use static addressing and have a flat network. I cannot even access an unprotected share…what am I missing?
