Can Get email but can’t browse web?

I access internet through lan/pix firewall and our email is at remote location(outside firewall).
I can recieve/send email but can’t browse web at all using IE 6. I did everything I knew of but still can’t browse any help would be appreciated and the answer that fixes problem will be rewarded.
