Can I change an 8 1/2 x 11 PDF file to print on a 4 x 6 label?

By dlr ·
Does anyone know how to change an 8 1/2 x 11 PDF file so I can print the pages in landscape mode on a 4 x 6 label? I am running WinXP SP3 using a Zebra LP 2844-Z.

When you want to print open the Printer Option Box and change the Paper Size.

So in Adobe press Ctrl P which opens the Printer Dialog Box then select the desired Paper Size and click on OK and then send the job to the printer.

Thank You, I wish it was that simple. I have selected the 4x6 layout. If I just print it that way, it prints only the top 4x6 section on the label, not the entire PDF. When I select Page Scaling - Fit To Printable Area, It prints the entire PDF, but only on half the label in portrait and landscape. I have had a PDF which is 6.1x7.9 and most of it will print on the 4x6 label but not all of it.

and paste it into Word, set the page size to a 4/6 label, and then save it as a PDF? Does that work? I never tried to do this so I don't know but it may be worth a try.

Thanks Sue. I can copy and paste, but these PDF files contain bar codes which we are trying to print on the labels along with the text and the formatting will not copy.
