Can I delete v1.14322 if I already have v2.05 of Microsoft.NET framework ?

By hpum ·
I want to free space from my C:drive and I noticed that Windows>Microsoft.NET>framework>v1.14322 folder has over 1Gb of files. I also got a v2.05 folder in the framework tree. Is it safe to delete the v1.14322 folder?

Uninstall it instead, unless you want a unstable system.

Oh, and if any programs use it but were not designed for v2, they may have issues.

I checked it using windows explorer and the Tree size utility. It occupies 31% of my C:\Windows folder.
