Can I delete v1.14322 if I already have v2.05 of Microsoft.NET framework ?

I want to free space from my C:drive and I noticed that Windows>Microsoft.NET>framework>v1.14322 folder has over 1Gb of files. I also got a v2.05 folder in the framework tree. Is it safe to delete the v1.14322 folder
