I was using Tally ERP9 for my business. I didn’t take the backup since past 2 months. Today my OS got corrupt, so i guess i will have to reinstall the OS. Is there any way possible that i can get complete data in the newly installed Tally? or copying the entire old folder?

    Please help.

Remove the HDD from the computer attach it to another system and copy the Data File off the drive to something that you can copy it back from after you reinstall the OS and software.

The other alternative is to use a Live Disc to boot the now nonrunning computer from and copy the Data File off the HDD so you have it for use latter. You could use a Live Linux which is probably the easiest way to proceed here but no matter what BACKUPS are Mandatory and will save you far more than they cost when things like this happen.
