But assuming that it is what you get told your M'Board is we would need the Make & Model of the Computer.
Unfortunately many P4 M'Boards have a limit of 2 GIG of Memory that they can use so if you have 2 RAM Sockets on the M'Board that is likely to be the Most you can install though none the less you can always check what RAM is available for your system by using one of the RAM Makers Web Sites to see what you can buy for your system and how much it can actually use.
Though you need to remember that if you are using a 32 Bit OS there is not any 32 BIT on the planet that can use more than about 3.25 GIG of Total System Memory and that includes any Installed Video Memory.
