Hi,
I have a HP ProLiant ML150 G6 Server that came with 4 GB of RAM and 1 CPU preinstalled. The motherboard itself supports dual processor, which the 2nd CPU slot is unutilized at the moment.
I bought a pair of 2GB RAMs yesterday to boost the total memory to 8GB. But I have been unable to get it working together eventhough I followed the manual (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=125&prodSeriesId=3884323&prodTypeId=15351&objectID=c01715708), which instructed me to install the RAM pair on memory slots for CPU1 and CPU2.
Do I need to have a 2nd CPU installed in order to get it working?
