Can I run raid1 with two additional but seperate drives?

By aqvarivs_msn.com ·
what I would like is to have win7 on a raid1 [back-up]set-up with two additional drives separate from the raid config, either as primary or logical drives under win7, so I can have my music collection on one and my games on the other.
I would like these two drives to be substantially larger than the raid1 drives for win7. Is this possible with a raid1 set-up?
Thank you.
Philip

RAID 1 mirrored array [two hdds] containing the system and a X number of hard drives on a non RAID controller.

I guess what I was worried about, having never run a raid set up, was whether or not the OS on a raid controller would or could read and write to non-raid HD's on the same motherboard.
