Can I use 120mm fans as an alternative to server ones?

Hey everyone!

I have a PowerEdge R710 server that is awaiting the delivery of the servers fans, but I was wondering if I would be able to put a couple 120mm fans into the chassis to substitute them until they arrive.

I’m waiting for the servers fans to be delivered, but was wondering if I would be able to rig up some 120s to keep the CPU heatsinks cool in the meantime.

To see if there was some normal fan connection. Didn’t find any so it’s you playing Red Green with the duck tape.
